About Us

Roswell Arts Renaissance (RoAR) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to support the programs and projects of the Historic and Cultural Affairs Division of the City of Roswell and the Roswell Cultural Arts Board through the establishment of a membership organization that provides financial and volunteer support, leadership and advocacy for the arts. By becoming a member you can be an important participant in making Roswell a more vibrant center for the arts through the promotion and advancement of cultural and artistic expression.

RoAR will:

• Provide arts advocacy for Roswell and the community
• Provide volunteer support for artists, arts organizations and Cultural Arts Board/Historic and Cultural Affairs Division projects and programs
• Identify benefactors and sponsors to provide financial support for local arts organizations, artists, Historic and Cultural Affairs Division/Cultural Arts Board programs and other local cultural programs
• Develop programs and projects which promote the arts in Roswell in areas not being pursued by other organizations, i.e. public art and arts events such as UpRoAR
